BREAKING – Sold Out Governor Forum Tackles Social Issues and Straw Poll

This morning’s sold out Governor Forum at the Petroleum Club sponsored by Alaska Family Action and the Alaska Watchman was exemplary.

Joining us as shown in the picture here from left to right are Dave Bronson, Shelley Hughes, moderator Joel Davidson with Alaska Watchman, Jim Minnery with Alaska Family Action, Adam Crum, Bernadette Wilson, Matt Heilala and Edna DeVries.

A straw poll, taken after the Forum is shown below.

Issues covered included school choice, protecting unborn Alaskans, gender ideology, elections, judicial selection and how the candidates would address the ongoing challenge of Republicans who continue to give power to Democrats who keep obtaining majorities without ever being elected as such.

Throughout the Forum, that will be made available online within a few days, the conversation kept returning to the out of control Courts that continue to legislate from the bench and act as if they are above the law.

The Forum provided opportunities for candidates to provide detailed responses on a host of issues, question each other and use Yes/No paddles to rattle off answers in an energetic round.

Having done these kind of events over the years many times, I can say in no uncertain terms that we received the greatest amount of positive feedback from candidates and guests than ever before. We are privileged to have so many outstanding social conservatives with their hats in the ring for CEO of the Great Land. It will be an adventurous ride until the August Primary and you can count on us to follow it every step of the way.

Again, thanks to the candidates and guests for making the morning so memorable and for those of you who were unable to attend, stay tuned for our video that will be on-line and available shortly.
