Legislative Briefings

Educating and informing the public about legislation important to Alaskans is a key component of Alaska Family’s mission.

These Legislative Briefings are designed to focus on pro- and anti-family bills debated by lawmakers at the state and federal level, and how these bills affect Alaskans’ lives, families, and religious freedoms.  During these events, we also discuss practical strategies for citizens who want to have an impact on their government and influence their elected officials.

Our Legislative Briefings are always free and open to the public.  They’re a great opportunity to network with like-minded citizens and are a great way to introduce your friends and neighbors to these important issues.

The next slate of legislative briefings will take place across the state in November 2015 and April 2016.  If you’d like to bring a briefing to your church or community, contact us here (contact us link).
