At Regent University, Alexandra McPhee was the Executive Director of the Law Review and President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. Following work as the Director of Religious Freedom Advocacy at Family Research Council and Legislative Counsel for U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO),McPhee now serves as the Director of Government Relations for Concerned Women for America. On today’s “I’m Glad You Said That” radio show/podcast, I have the pleasure of chatting with Alexandra about the Standing With Moms Act introduced by Senator Marco Rubio that would create a website that will list federal, state, local, and private resources available for expectant moms and families. Many states like South Dakota, have already launched. Eighty-five percent of women who had abortions in 2019 were unmarried. Mothers with unexpected pregnancies suffer fear of whether they can get support during pregnancy and after the child is born. In a post-Roe America, this information is more vital than ever.Hope you can tune in.
