Jim Minnery has served as the executive director of Alaska Family Council since its inception in 2006. A lifelong Alaskan, Minnery has worked in the nonprofit sector for nearly 20 years, serving groups including the March of Dimes, American Red Cross of Alaska, Alaska Legal Services Corporation and Crisis Pregnancy Center of Alaska.
Jim received a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Regis University in Denver. He has previously served on the board of the Alaska Association for Nonprofits and obtained recognition as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Jim, his wife Kim, and their four children attend New Grace Christian Church in Anchorage.
Kim Minnery handles all bookkeeping and database management for the ministry. She has extensive experience in office operations, payroll, financial management and bookkeeping and earned an MBA from University of Denver.
As Policy Director, Pauley lobbies in Juneau on issues affecting faith, family and freedom. Pauley is the principal of Pauley Strategic Communications, LLC and has worked as a consultant for numerous political campaigns, including the successful effort to elect Mike Dunleavy as Governor of Alaska and in 2010 to pass a ballot measure in Alaska to protect a parent’s right to know before a minor’s abortion. He formerly worked as the Coalitions Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, D.C. He has also served as a legislative aide in the U.S. Congress and the Alaska State Senate.
