Alaska Family Council has done a lot to protect women’s private spaces in the Great Land. With help from the Dunleavy-appointed Board of Education, we were able to lead the effort to prevent boys from competing against girls in sports. The regulation proves that we can accomplish good policy even when our Legislature doesn’t get out the the starting blocks.
Click HERE to see a map of states that protect girls sports. Alaska is one of just two states that have utilized a state board of education or athletic association instead of legislation. Remarkably, there are legislators in Juneau who still are confused as to what Title IX really is all about.
What’s puzzling isn’t the fact that the sexual politics of the “Left” has created a mental health crisis and necessitated the need for corrective legislation and regulations, but rather that even after being called-out, soundly rejected in national elections, and denounced by victims of this evil practices, the Left still screams ideas bereft of Biblical value.
This week, an authentic woman was CANCELLED by Gold’s Gym, because she dared to try and stop a biological man who claimed he was a woman, from entering the women’s locker room, which he claims he had been doing for weeks.
This example serves as a reminder that we live in a nation divided by worldview. One side believes in the biblical reality of mankind – that God made man and woman in his image – for marriage and mutual service, different but equal. The other side believes they get to choose what constitutes truth, gender, marriage, or just about any other matter.

President Trump Steps Up on Persecution of Nigerian Christians
On Friday, President Trump announced that he was taking action to stop the growing atrocities against Christians in Nigeria. On his Truth Social media platform, the President declared:
“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’ — But that is the least of it.”
Some journalists mock Trump’s “Country of Particular Concern” designation for Nigeria, as if he made up out of thin air. The phrase originates from the U.S. Commission for International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). It refers to a country that is a serious violator of human rights, especially religious liberty.
This president was a strong defender of religious liberty during his first term and remains so in this term.
President Trump took corrective action after Joe Biden abandoned Nigeria’s Christians.
The true nature of this conflict is not a dispute between “farmers” and “herders,” triggered by climate change, as the Left & media may have you believe. It is, as Trump stated, a jihad being waged by radical Islamists against Christians.

“Thank you, President Donald J. Trump, for designating Nigeria as a ‘country of particular concern’… I am so grateful for a president who cares. It is incomprehensible that some 50,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria in the last 15 years—murdered, butchered by Islamic extremists. And tragically, these atrocities are also taking place in Sudan and other African countries. Pray for persecuted Christians and their families who are trying to survive.”
