We’re Launched ! Now It’s Time To Fuel Up

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” 1 Corinthians 9:16

If you know Cheston McCrea, it won’t surprise you that he has come on board as Director of our new initiative we’re calling the Church Ambassador Network of Alaska.Cheston is as ebullient as he is passionate about preaching the Gospel. He is also very savvy and engaged in the intersection of God’s institutions of Government and church. For some time, he has felt the call on his life to connect his devotion to advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ to the reality that God is very much interested in the political arena. As Dr. Tony Evans says in his book Kingdom Politics, ” God is active in virtually every page in the political affairs of humanity for both blessing and judgment. You might say that the Bible is a political textbook since God is seen setting up nations, writing constitutions and by-laws.  He both establishes governments and dismantles them.  He places people in strategic political roles and removes others from their political perches.Given this reality, it is unfortunate that God and politics are far too often disconnected from each other as though connecting them too close is anathema.  The failure to properly connect God’s relationship to politics based on His word has left individuals, political leaders, and nations void of knowledge needed to govern society as the Creator intended.”As Director of the Church Ambassador Network of Alaska, Cheston will connect shepherds of God’s Church (pastors) across Alaska with shepherds of God’s government (public officials). Transformation will happen as public officials accurately see Christ and rightly value Him. Cheston, by serving as a facilitator of genuine relationships, will help government leaders see what God designed government to be and who He appointed them to be. Although he didn’t know it, as a prisoner, Joseph needed Pharaoh to get out of prison, connect with authority and ultimately help his people. Pharaoh, without Joseph was lost. But together, a solution came to fruition.God wants the two institutions to work together. For His glory so that people will flourish. If this resonates with you…please know we have taken a significant step of faith to bring Cheston on. We need Alaskans to sow into this movement and help us align Government with church in a manner that glorifies God. Pray for our ministry as we broaden our reach and expand our vineyards.Screen_Shot_2023-03-04_at_8.35.32_AM.pngScreen_Shot_2023-03-04_at_8.35.52_AM.png
